It’s still kind of difficult seeing him there… I picked a fish as different as possible from Lucius for a reason… it’s why I didn’t bring the cute little brown and yellow guy home… the shades were too close to the warm white, not too close, but close enough… I didn’t want to look into the tank and forget that it’s not him. That would make it harder.
But it’s strange, even so, seeing that flash of blue and black instead.
I may have to see if I can redecorate a tiny bit… even if it’s just stuffing a random ornament in the middle of the tank somewhere.
On the upside, Lo Pan is acclimating nicely and seems to have finally figured out this living in a tank thing - even figured out what his food pellets are (though I may need to give him the smaller ones till he grows a wee bit - he keeps spitting the larger ones out so he may be too little for them just yet). He seems happy. That’s good.
Good lord does he clash with the algae though. LOL Teal on green. But he likes his plants too much for me to remove them. Fish happiness over aesthetics.
I just… need to watch him more, get used to the fact that it’s not Lucius living there anymore.
